About

I am just an auld eedjit who has followed sons since I moved to Dumbarton from Dundee in 1954 as a 6year old who didn,t know the difference between proddies and tims. The first time Iwas sent out to play with Mathew and John the neighbours next door to my Granny I was asked by Matt “are you a tim” and I had to go and ask my maw.

My Dad took me to see the sons one week and if the dees were playing in Glasgow he would take me there.

My earliest memeory of watching the sons was going to Motherwell in an old steam train in the cup run 56-57 us wee lads were tossed like kit bags onto the luggage rack then the record crowd 18001 at boghead. by god health and safety would have had a field day as all the wee lads were passed down over the crowd to sit in “safety”in front of the wall

And heres me with my black and gold top hat my granny made for me ,at my age and size it seemed about 6feet tall

I think you should start a campaign for the latest artificial pitch to be laid at the Rock. Financed by Brabco and the RBS.
